Can you introduce yourself in a few words? Who are you outside of your role as an athlete?

Hello, my name is Coline, I am 24 years old, and I am a high-level athlete in kayak slalom and cross. Outside of competition, I am passionate about outdoor sports. I love moving, exploring new places, and living new adventures.

Can you tell us about your journey in canoe slalom? What led you to reach the top level?

My career is above all a story of passion. When I started out, I wasn't necessarily looking to reach the top level. What motivated me was the pleasure of training, being on the water with friends, learning new techniques and progressing. Little by little, this passion for kayaking pushed me to invest myself fully. This journey led me, almost naturally, to international medals in the youth categories and performance at the highest level.

What values do you hold dear in your life as an athlete and in your daily life?

In my life, as in sport, I am guided by strong values: respect, mutual aid and solidarity. These principles remind me every day of the importance of working together and remaining humble. In addition, environmental values also occupy a central place. As an athlete who evolves in the heart of nature, I am committed to protecting it and enjoying it to the fullest, whether in competition or in everyday life.

How would you describe Layer&Plouf and what the brand represents for you?

For me, Layer&Plouf is a French brand that combines innovation and practicality to support athletes in all conditions. For me, it embodies the freedom to train whatever the circumstances, while remaining faithful to an idea that I like: "No bad weather, only bad clothes".
With the right equipment, you can stay focused on what's important: training, performing, and making the most of every moment, even in the rain or wind.

What did you think of our beach parka? How does it accompany you in your daily life or your training?

The beach parka has become an essential part of my winter training. It allows me to stay warm and dry when I get out of my kayak to analyze and watch the courses (an essential part of our sport). Thanks to this parka, I can stay focused on these essential tasks, without being bothered by the cold.

What are your big goals or challenges for the coming seasons?

In 2025, my main goal is to qualify for the French team and win medals internationally, notably at the World Championships in Australia in October.

At the same time, I like to challenge myself that goes beyond the framework of high-level performance. Last year, for example, after the first World Cup block, I crossed the Southern Alps by mountain bike. These itinerant adventures, whether by mountain bike, bike or hiking, allow me to disconnect, enjoy simple moments and refocus.

My next adventure is not yet defined, but it is being considered... watch this space!
