In this episode, we go to meet Nicolas: doctor, Mediterranean, passionate about the sea. I contacted Nicolas following the publication of his book “Swimming in cold water - benefits and risks for health”, which was published in 2022.

I wanted to know more: who was behind the only book on cold water in France? We met at the Cercle des Nageurs for the first time. Nicolas was returning from a short sea swimming trip in February, he had just swum 3km, and was of course ready to talk about the “privileged circle of cold water swimmers” .

Today, in this first episode with Nicolas Iconomidis, we discover the journey of this doctor from Marseille, and his passion for the sea on a daily basis.

Swimming all year round for 30 years, the benefits of cold water explained, his advice for practicing: after this episode, it's certain, you too will go diving in the Mediterranean in January.
