• Preparation

We study our route upstream on a map, and then we walk along the river. We mark the entry and exit of the water, the areas to avoid. And emergency exits if needed.

  • Enhanced security

If you decide to go back and forth, start against the current. If we opt for a one-way trip, what is the route and what elevation for the return?

  • Ask yourself the right questions

Has it rained recently? What tide? What current? Any dangers to note (dam, lock)? How deep?

  • What equipment

A helmet in case of strong current, a safe swimmer to put your things in and rest if necessary, and above all we avoid sunscreen or any other product that is not very environmentally friendly.
